the art of knitting

From artist Julie Baroh. Sorry folks, this one has already sold.

Its going to be another lovley day here today. I've still got lots of spring fever left in me. Things are blooming all over. I've even got the stuffy nose to prove it! The side garden is exploding with azaleas. Can you find the angel in the picture?

What should I do to the garden today?

I'd go with the knitting in the garden idea if it's warm enough. I'm enjoying your knitting art photos. I have a bunch of these on my computer and use them with Webshots as screensaver photos.

Enjoying your knitting art. Am almost certain I have seen the gargoyle knitting somewhere before. It is striking. Thanks.

Ann, yep, its pine needles. Down here in the south we refer to it as pine straw. We can't really live without it in the dead of summer. It works fantastically to keep the plants from losing water too fast. I pick mine up at Lowes but if you've got it drifting onto your yard for free, heck, I'd rake it up and use it for mulch asap!
